Description:

India Round 1 (Rajasthan) Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with urban-rural and regional strata.  In total there were 24 strata, 8 urban and 18 rural. A sample of 147enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by the International Institute of Population Sciences (IIPS) from the census.  Each EA was listed and mapped; 35 households were randomly selected.  Occupants in selected households were enumerated and eligible females of reproductive age (15-49) were contacted and consented for interview.  Data collection was conducted between June and September, 2016. The final completed sample included 4,870 households and 5,471 female interviews.
